Use this guide as a reference to take photos of the vehicle’s interior and exterior before and after your booking. This helps document the vehicle’s condition and protects you from claims regarding pre-existing damages.

Capture and upload photos to record the vehicle’s condition and cleanliness before and after your booking, within 24 hours of the start and end of your reservation. Photos help Sync support you in payment disputes, verify claims for late returns, assess eligibility for damage claims, and check the vehicle’s security. Use the Sync app for iOS or Android to take timestamped photos and upload them to “Booking Photos.”

Tip: Ensure photos are taken in well-lit and clean locations.

Take at least 15 photos of the vehicle’s exterior from these angles. Include close-up shots of any pre-existing scratches, dents, or other issues.

Take at least eight photos covering the following areas inside the vehicle. Make sure to clearly capture the fuel/charge level, odometer reading, and any stains or debris inside.

Tip: Take before-and-after photos from the same angles to make comparisons easier.
