Once a refund is approved (e.g. after a cancellation), Sync processes it automatically through Stripe. From that point, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank — typically 5–10 business days.
Why does it take time?
Sync sends the refund right away, but every bank has its own processing timeline. Some banks show refunds within 2–3 days, others take the full 10. This is outside our control.
What to check if more than 10 business days have passed:
Confirm that the cancellation or refund was approved in the app
Check that the card you paid with is still active — refunds always go back to the original payment card
Contact our support team via chat or at thesync.com/help with your booking number
