The cliché “attention to detail” sometimes has a reason for being. Like here. That is, in preparing your vehicle for the renter. Because we love to make things simple, we made the checklist of the successful provider in Sync.
1. Cleanliness
Outdoor Cleaning
- Wash the car: Make sure the exterior of the vehicle is clean and shiny. A well-cleaned vehicle makes a good first impression... and is even more beautiful!
- Check for any damage: See if there are scratches, bumps or other damage and repair them if possible.
Internal Cleanliness
- Wipe and dust: Make sure the interior of the vehicle is clean of dust and debris. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and hairs. Nobody likes them!
- Clean the seats: Use appropriate cleaners to remove stains and give freshness to the seats.
- Clean windows and mirrors: Make sure they are clean and free of rings.
2. Maintenance
-Oil and Fluid Control: Ensure that oil, brake, coolant and cleaning fluid levels are adequate.
- Check the tires: Make sure that the tires have the correct pressure and are free of wear. Replace any worn tires. Not only can they spoil the renter's experience with your vehicle - who might want to get a tire? - but it's also dangerous...
- Brakes and suspensions: Make sure that the brakes are working properly and that the suspensions are in good condition.
- Lights and indicators: Check that all lights and indicators are working normally.
3. Amenities and Security
-First aid kit: Have a complete first aid kit in the vehicle.
- Fire Extinguisher: Make sure the fire extinguisher is in good condition and easily accessible.
- Spare tire and tools: Make sure there is a spare tire and all the necessary tools to replace it.
- Navigation system: If the car has GPS, make sure it is up to date.
4. Documents and Licenses
- License: Make sure that the license is valid and is on the vehicle.
- Insurance policies: Check that all insurance policies are up to date and that you have copies in the vehicle.
- Instructions for use: Provide an owner's manual for the vehicle, if possible.
5. More amenities
- Chargers and Cables: Provide chargers for mobile phones and other devices.
- Tissue wipes and sanitizers: You have available tissues and disinfectants for passengers.
- Music and entertainment: Make sure the radio and sound systems work perfectly.
6. Personal Interaction
-Welcome: Greet renters with a warm welcome and give them basic instructions for using your vehicle. Show a little excitement to share with them something you love so much!
- Contact: Provide your contact information and let tenants know that you are available for any questions or needs.
7. Detailed Status Logging
-Before and after photos: Take pictures of the vehicle before renting and after returning it to record its condition.
- Damage log: Keep a record of any damage or damage that may occur.
By following this checklist, you can ensure that your vehicle is in perfect condition for Sync renters. Attention to detail and ensuring a positive experience will earn you a lot of positive evaluations and that should be your goal!
